What is health in relation to the reproductive, hygienic and emotional aspects of sexuality? Sexual health can be described as a state of physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing in regards to sexuality and not just the absence of disease or dysfunction in health. According to the WHO, reproductive and sexual ill-health accounts for 20% of the global burden of ill-health for women, and 14% for men.
